For Nate's 1st birthday we taught him how to shop for his own food and get his own milk! Next year we'll teach him how to grow a garden haha. Actually we went to the children's museum and he had a great time. He could not believe that we would let him play with all that stuff and not say "no no Nate"
We had his party with our family later in the week. Nate had his first bite of cake! He wasn't sure what to think. After he went to bed that night he seemed a little wired. We heard this loud beating noise coming from his room around 30 minutes after we put him to bed. I walked in there and he was kicking his crib as he laid on his back probably wishing he could just fall asleep.
He also got a little car for his birthday in which he now goes and sits in it to wait on somebody to push him around. To get our attention he says "beep beep" which is super cute!
